Parent Teacher Organization

Objectives of the PTO:

  • Establish and maintain a working relationship among caregivers, school, and community.

  • Enhance the quality of education by raising funds for school supplies or programs that fall outside the school budget.

  • Create and organize events for the whole school community.

Ways to participate in the PTO:

  • Become an Officer

  • Attend monthly PTO meetings

  • Volunteer to help with an event

Who can attend a PTO Meeting:
Anyone with a child in the school. You do not have to be an officer to attend the meetings. They are open to all families within the school. We value the participation and ideas of the members of our community. It is our hope that all families will attend our meetings.

When are PTO meetings?
The Snug Harbor PTO typically meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. We have been doing them virtually, however, beginning next year we will be moving to a hybrid meeting where people can meet in-person or virtually. We are also looking at holding a second meeting in the morning (day to be determined) for those families who can not attend an evening meeting.
